There is a long standing discussion regarding the use of two u-joints. Russell of Z-1 fame posted here that the 2 u-joint shaft does cause vibration and released a one-piece with the factory style differential flex joint. It would be really bad to spend a grand on a beautiful piece that annoys you with vibration. Many who claim great results with 2 u-joint models had worn driveshaft to begin with. Those who changed over while their DS were still good in search of planting more energy to the ground did experience vibration. I don't understand why the company chose a 2 piece design, especailly on a relatively small car like this with a solidly mounted diff. I have been coveting one of those for a long time but have been fearful of buying one more thing that I don't use 'case it does not work as well as what the fact installed.
